In the year of our Lord 1870, on the 22nd day of March at 11:00 a.m. in Rivarolo and in the Municipal Palace…there appeared Misters Giovanni Costantino, son of the deceased Agostino [Costantino], age sixty-three, a farm laborer and Domenico Berletta, son of the deceased Battista [Berletta], age fifty-one, a storeowner, both residing in this city and whom were witnesses to the following. Domenico Costantino passed away at 1:00 a.m. [no day given] in Rivarolo in his home located in the San Rocco neighborhood, Via Breccia. [Domenico was] seventy-five years old [born about 1795], a farmer, born in and residing in this city, the spouse of Gerolama [sic, Girolama] Borgaro, son of the deceased Antonio [Costantino] and the deceased Catterina Bisacca, a married couple…this act was placed in the death registers and both witnesses were literate.
